Jay's Care Program - Baseball Clinics with Mr. Morris (Gr 3-6)
Starting Tuesday, April 1st we will begin the after school baseball program, which is free of charge. It will run for 8 weeks on Tuesdays. The focus is on learning the sport in a fun, "no pressure" atmosphere. There will be an opportunity for students in Gr 7-8 to help run the program. A sign-up sheet is located on the gym bulletin board starting Mar 5th. A meeting with the students will be held on Mar 25th. Limited space is available and those who do not get a chance this year will be put on priority list for next year. If you have any questions, see Mr. Morris.
Mar 24 update: We had a lot of students sign up for these clinics so instead of selecting students, I am going to alternate dates between grade 3-4 and 5-6. We will start the first couple of dates in the gym until the weather improves. Mr. Morris will meet with students before the first scheduled date, so they are aware of the info. If you have questions, please reach out to Mr. Morris.
What to bring? Clean running shoes for indoor clinics and outdoor shoes and appropriate clothing for weather for outdoor clinics. We have all the baseball equipment for students here, but they are welcome to bring their own glove if they wish.
